Freedom '27
Freedom '27 is a financial initiative with the goal of eliminating the burden of Open Door's remaining 3.5 million debt, freeing up our church body to steward the resources God has entrusted to us towards His Kingdom advancement in our community and world.
Freedom '27 also serves to raise $2.5 million to fund essential and significant building upkeep and improvements, ensuring continued ministry for the next 25 years. A total of $6.0 million is needed.
Open Door's monthly mortgage payment of $54,000 adds up to $648,000 per year. This significantly impacts the church's budget and our ability to invest in the ministries of Open Door, support local and global mission partners, and maintain the aging building.
We believe that God is guiding us towards financial freedom by becoming debt-free. We will be able to respond to these needs and offer our resources for deeper impact in our community and beyond, while faithfully stewarding the ministry of Open Door.
