Volunteer to
Serve at Open Door.
We rely on the whole church family to carry out the ministry God has given us. If you call Open Door your home church, we’d love for you to get involved and help us meet the needs of our community. Below are a few ways you can serve our church family. Is there something else you have a passion for or are skilled in that you think could benefit our church? Reach out and let us know! We may be able to get you plugged in using those gifts.
Our WEEKEND TEAM is the real MVP of Sunday gatherings. They are the first point of contact and help provide a warm, inviting environment for our guests on Sunday mornings and at other events. Training is provided for all positions. We ask that you commit to serving one Sunday per month but you can serve as often as you’d like!

WELCOME KIOSK
The Welcome Kiosk is the hub of activity in the Gathering Place. BAPTISM PHOTOGRAPHERS: Every couple months we need photographers to help us capture this milestone moment by taking photos of baptisms.
KIDS PHOTOGRAPHERS: A couple times a year we need photographers to pop downstairs on a Sunday morning to capture the beauty and life that is happening in the lives of our littlest church family. We also need photographers for various events throughout the years (VBS, family events, etc.)
STUDENTS PHOTOGRAPHERS: A few times a year we want to capture Wednesday nights and all that happens within our student ministry. It might be a party or a night of worship or out serving in the community.
HOLIDAY PHOTOGRAPHERS: We want to capture the Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday Gatherings.
VIDEOGRAPHERS
Our videographers capture experiences and tell stories through film! Filming interviews, or capturing the fun and excitement buzzing around church on a Sunday or youth group night is a taste of what they may do to give people a taste of what our church family is all about!
It takes an amazing team of volunteers to provide quality Kids programming each Sunday morning to our birth – 5th graders! Welcoming families, cuddling babies, consoling toddlers, playing with preschoolers, leading games, teaching Bible stories, building relationships… we need your unique gifts and strengths to make a big impact on the faith formation of the next generation within our elementary & early childhood classrooms.
