Baptism

Baptism honors Christ’s command and is practiced by His followers. When a believer is immersed in the waters of baptism, it signifies their union with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection and of their fellowship with His church. It is fitting that we gather to celebrate this decision and reaffirm your baptism by witnessing those who are being baptized.

Baptism Prep Process – for Kids, Youth and Adults

Prepare to enter the waters of baptism through study, faith sharing, and prayer. Candidates will meet with a pastor and sponsor before attending a prep class or small group.

Baptisms are held during Holy Week and in the summer, we gather at a local lake. You may complete the Baptism Application online. You will be contacted to set up an appointment after you apply.

For more info about Baptism, see Open Door's Core Beliefs or e-mail Kim.
