Discover Experiences are classes, groups, workshops, and retreats, designed to help you discover who God is and what is real in the deepest part of you.
Baptism is a way to declare out loud, in front of the church community, that the love of God has captured your heart. As a church, we would love to experience that part of your journey with you. If Jesus has changed your life, and you have chosen to follow Him, then we encourage you to consider being baptized. Baptisms are held at the church twice a year, spring and fall. All candidates (kids, youth, and adults) will go through a preparation process with a sponsor.. See: Open Door Beliefs on Baptism.. Contact: Julia | ext 1902
Spring Baptism - Prepared candidates will be presented during the 11am worship service, and baptized in the Gathering Place baptistery. Join us in witnessing this sacred event!

Open Door 101
This class, taught by Al Schuck, Pastor of Community Life, is designed to clearly explain who we are and what we care about as a church. By using our mission, values and core beliefs, this class will focus on who God is and what He desires for us through our relationships with God, others and Open Door. Members will lead table discussions and are also available to help you identify tangible resources to assist you with taking your own next steps. Contact: Julia | ext 1902
Open Door 101 is a prerequisite to membership.
Next class will be Fall 2017. Exact dates TBD
Join us weekly for 4-7 weeks. Each group is based on a specific Discover-oriented topic. Learn from pastors and authors through video sessions, selah (reflection), and small group discussion. These groups have proven to be a great starting place for newcomers to Open Door, as well as a place where long-time attenders are finding a deeper level of community. Connect with others as you discover who God is and who we are within community.
