OUR VISION: to be a community of people radically committed to spiritual formation for the sake of others.

our values

BROKENNESS IS WELCOME HERE

Come as you are. No matter what you’ve done or where you’ve been, this is a place of grace.

THERE'S NO NEED TO HIDE

When life gets messy (and it will), we don’t fake it around here. We believe God meets us in our real lives, not the lives we wished we had.

EMBRACE THE STRUGGLE

We stay in the struggle of becoming fully alive in God because we know the only way out is through.

LIVE IN GRACE & TRUTH

Life in God is a mystery and it's questions don’t have tidy black and white answers. Together, we seek Jesus’ third way - the way of grace and truth.

STatement of Faith

We believe...
  • In the inspiration and authority of the Bible. (*Examples: 2 Timothy 3:15-17 and 2 Peter 1:21)
  • There exists one God who is equally Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (*Examples: 2 Corinthians 13:14, Luke 1:35, and Matthew 28:19)
  • Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human; was crucified, died, buried and bodily resurrected to reconcile the world to God and to give new life to those who by faith participate in His death and resurrection. (*Examples: Philippians 2:5-11, Romans 6:3-10, and Galatians 2:20)

  • The Holy Spirit continually draws people to God, transforms them into the image of Christ, empowers them for ministry, and distributes spiritual gifts to the church. Believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit upon faith in Christ. (*Examples: Acts 1:8; 2:38, Romans 8:9, and Titus 3:5-8)
  • All persons are created in the image of God designed for relationship with God but are separated by sin and in need of reconciliation to God, self, others, and creation. (*Examples: Genesis 1:27, Matthew 22:35-40, Romans 3:23-25)
  • All who believe in the Gospel message of Jesus Christ are participants in His eternal life. Water baptism and communion are powerful and active symbols of His life and message and our transformation. (*Examples: Mark 1:14-15, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Matthew 28:19-20, and Colossians 2:12)
  • There is one universal Christian Church with many expressions, consisting of all who believe in the good news of Jesus Christ. The primary purpose of the Church is to be the incarnational presence of Christ in the world. (*Examples: 1 Corinthians 12:27, Galatians 1:2, Philippians 2:5-11, and Ephesians 5:1-2)
  • Christ will return to culminate the work of reconciling all things to Himself. (*Examples: Revelation 21:1-5, Philippians 3:20, and Colossians 2:17-20)

  • Baptism, a wonderful opportunity to affirm your faith, was a common practice in Jesus’ day, and it has been practiced by the Church for centuries.

Learn more about baptism and upcoming opportunities too be baptized here.

  • We celebrate communion in obedience to the command of Jesus to "do this in remembrance of me". We believe the elements of bread and wine symbolize the body and blood of Christ and mysteriously extend to us the life of God, when received in faith. We invite all who desire this life in God through Jesus to share communion at our table.

Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month. Receive a cracker from the Communion Stewards, and dip it into the cup at a variety of stations around the sanctuary. All of our communion elements are gluten free.
